| I just start preparing 215 and have the following questions:
1. Does the Microsoft Self-Paced Training Kit have sufficient coverage?
2. Does anyone have Keystone experience? Is it good?
3. I do not have a second computer to set up the network environment. Do I
have alternative? I am using Windows 2000 on my standalone PC.
4. Are test simulations any useful? Which one is good?
Thanks.

| vmware is a solution for the lack of PC's
but make sure your current PC is of reasonable spec.

| The 215 book from Microsoft is pretty good, but you will need to supplement
with lab work and practice test questions. Keystone makes decent training
products but they are a little pricey. I have not specifically seen the 215
product. A lot of people on this board tout VMWare, I personally prefer to
build a real test lab. I feel that you can learn more that way. You can
find used/refurbished Dells for $150 that will work perfectly well for
setting up a test lab and for around $500 you can have a pretty sweet test
lab that will work for all of your MCSE exams (and others).
My company also specializes in creating CBTs with lab manuals (Mega Lab) to
really learn concepts in detail.

| This is NOT meant to be a product solicitation (more of an example) and I
don't want this to be construed as SPAM. But, I can supply you with a Dell
Optiplex GX1 PII450, 128 MB Ram, 6.4 GB HD, SND, NIC, USB, CD for $150. I
have 28 of these systems for example and they come with a 45 Day Warranty.
If you need more memory, go to crucial and add 128 MB for around $30. Or,
look on Ebay, do a search for Dell Optiplex and you will see a lot of
different systems pop up.

| Thanks for all the replies. I have additional questions:
1. Where I can download Windows 2000 Server version for me to install on
the second computer? My standalone PC has Windows 2000 Professional. Do I
need other software pieces other than Windows 2000 Server?
2. Does anyone hear LearnKey? Is it good for preparing?
3. When I receive the second computer, what other things I need? Network
cable? Network cards?
Sorry, I am a newcomer. These questions may sound a little bit naive. . .

| 2. I used LearnKey practice test for the 320 as part of the Osborne book.
The Osborne book was very good, btw.
I liked it. Poor format but very challenging and good prep.
Obviously question 3 would suggest network cards and cables.
