To be or not to be...

| .....a MCP
Am thinking about doing one exam to give me a leg up on Microsoft and its
technologies, including .NET....may want to develop this later to a
MCSA/MCSD/MCSE etc....
I am a combination technical / commercial person working in technical
sales/product management....will also be doing the CompTIA certifications
e-biz+, i-Net+, Security+, IT Project+ and the APMD (Prod. Mgmt)
Any suggestion for the MS course?.....

| A good place to start would be C#, VB, or if you prefer other products for
developing code perhaps SQL server (70-229/70-228). Of course I am speaking
with respect to developing toward MCSD cert. The best thing would be to
pick something you are already familiar with for your first test. They way
you can focus on learning the Microsoft Official Curriculum (MOC) style of
testing. I.E. build your comfort level with the testing.

| I would take the 315, 316 or the 320.
I've done the 315 and the 316 and they are interesting.
