I'm going through P3's on-line practice tests (six, 90-question tests) right now. They are quite good--a Helluva lot better than Boson's--but I don't know how close they are in format and content to the actual exam questions.

I guess I really won't know until I take the exam in June!

Hello locowav.

The CWNE practice exam is dead on. I studied the book and then used all but one of the exams to practice. Then when I felt ready to take the exam, I practiced with the last one and scored something in the 80s and then earned an 86 (or was it an 87????) on the CWNA exam.

You'll do fine if you read the book, reread the book, and then, yes, read the book again (taking good notes).

Oh, when answering the questions (from the text and the practice exams), know not only why the correct answer is correct, but why the incorrect answers are incorrect.

Hope this helps.

Amen... The practice tests from P3 are right on the money. Took the test once and thought I was ready. I could not have been more wrong! You definitely need to know the material inside and out. There is no other way around it.....

Unfortunately, I relied more on the study guide than the tests. The study guide is invaluable for sure, but the practice tests will give you a good indication of what you have learned. I am scheduled to take the exam again next week. After having taken and failed the first test, I have first hand knowledge about what kinds of questions to expect. Trust me when I tell you, you need to score at least 90% on the practice exams. The P3 practice exams are "exactly" what you need. Just by the nature of the questions you will plainly see you need to seriously study. Hands on with an access point and RADIUS helps as well.

Good luck!
