| GPRS is the 3G upgrade path for GSM wireless service providers. So, no...technically, if you have GPRS, then you have GSM.
What is your interest with GPRS if you don't mind me asking? I am in the cellular business, so I am always interested in what other folks are doing.
Thanks! | |

| Dear Meijin
I am a pre-sales guy selling WLAN, Fixed Wireless Links and Carrier class networks.
I was just worried whether, for low bandwidth applications , an existing GSM Provider would Sweep the Market by just adding GPRS facility to his N/W, thus putting me under pressure!!!
I think Maximum B/W we get is 40-50 Kbps in GPRS, any technical docs on this would be helpful.
regards
