I have done it with the PC cards for laptops... or PC card with laptop and PCI card in one desktop, but never PCI to PCI...

Are you experiencing some problems?

thanks tommnor

no problem, i still have not tried it live!
actually the main security gate is placed some 1 km from building, so i just wanted to connect just one PC there to main communication room.

can u change power level in Cisco PCI or PCMCIA cards?

regards
