| For those who have enrolled, please view my postings in the discussion area of the class web site. I have posted a reference to a free study guide for the Security+ exam. Since the Certified Wireless Network Program site, recommends "that all CWSP candidates achieve either the SCP or Security + certifications prior to attending a CWSP class," it is probably a good idea that those of you joining me in this structured effort to pass the CWSP exam read this 244 page study guide before we start working on the class in a little over a week.
Of interest to those of you who are instructors is that CompTIA has a program for schools that may benefit you. The program can be found on their website at

Program benefits include FREE certification exams for instructors. Since they are now charging $225 for this exam, free sounds good.
The Security+ exam is also of help for those of you who presently hold your W2K MCSE and have taken the 70-220 exam. Passing the Security+ exam gives you the MCSE:Security designation.

I have not had a chance to take a look at your reference yet...is this Tcat's Security+ guide? If not, I would like to recommend it as well. You can have a look at:

The beta version is a free PDF download and for $20 (which I have spent) you can get the most recent version. It is a VERY comprehensive reference to Security+.

| If anyone would like an other e-book for the Security+ exam, PM me.
This is the electronic version of the book I used to study for the exam. The file is about 1.5MB, so just make sure you have room in your mailbox.
