Thanks for the info, but I had already ordered mine directly from Planet3. I hope that it comes in the next day or two.

Did you get yours from Planet3? If so, what date did you order it?

Thanks!

Michael,
I placed the order to Planet3 on 5-1-03. My company allowed me to pay the extra $25 for next day air.

Scott:

Thanks for the info...I just did the regular shipping. Tapping my foot waiting on the book now....

So, do you use WLAN with your job now? If so, may I ask what it is that you do?

Just curious as we had a thread on this a week or so ago.

Thanks!

Michael,
I work as a network technologist at a DOE lab. I am respnosible for maintaining our wired network consisting of Cisco routers and switches, as well as the implementation of the new WLAN. We currently have about 20 Roam-about AP's in our accelerator, and are in the process of buying 20 more Cisco 11000's this month. This is going to be a great opportunity to learn some good stuff. Because of my recent CWNA cert,I have been placed in charge of deploying the new AP's. The new Cisco products have some really robust security features that the Roam-about's were lacking. I think this CWSP journey is going to be worth the effort!

Sounds good! I really like the Cisco 1100's. I got to use one in my CWP/CWSE class awhile back. Very nice over the 1200...I much prefer to have the IOS loaded on there than the goofy web admin interface.

Still waiting on the book...

Thanks!
