hello guys

Here it goes, a most stupid question, i wanted to ask for a long time , but felt a bit shy asking someone

1. Why my 802.11B Access Point DOES NOT come with a V.35 Interface, so that i can connect a router directly.
2. Is 802.11 Standard something like a Wireless Ethernet

thanks

As to #1...

Think about the design of a WLAN and how it fits into an enterprise wired LAN. There is no reason for it to really connect to a router. The vast majority of the time you are going to connect it to a switch and, more than likely, you are going to have alot of them attached to the switch and want it to be via a CAT5 connection.

As to #2...

I don't understand the question.

That help any?
