TO MY FELLOW CWNAS AND TO THOSE AT PLANET3WIRELESS:

I WOULD BE HONORED TO HAVE AN ID CARD FROM PLANET3WIRELESS'S ORGANIZATION!!!

HERE ARE SOME REASONS FOR IT:
(1)IF YOU GO ON A JOB INTERVIEW YOU NEED SOME SORT OF CREDITENTIALS TO VERIFY WHAT YOU'RE OBTAINED. YES, RESUMES IS FINE BUT ANYONE CAN WRITE A FEW LETTERS ON A PIECE OF PAPER.

(2)I WOULD LIKE A CONSTANT REMINDER IN MY POCKET TO SHOW TO POTENTIAL CONTACTS, CO-WORKERS, VENDOR, ETC. WHEN I'M OUT ATTENDING BUSINESS MEETINGS OR THE SUCH.

(3)YOU COULD MAKE IT LIKE A CREDIT CARD FORM (AS MICROSOFT DOES) AND LIST ALL OF YOUR CREDITENTIALS...THAT'S COOL!!!

(4)I PAID A LOT OF MONEY ON THE TEST, TRAINING, BOOKS AND SUPPLIES FOR THE EXAM. THEY SHOULD OFFER AN ID CARD ON THAT GROUNDS ALONE

FORGET THOSE WHO SAY THEY DON'T WANT ONE...

MAYBE OFFER IT TO ONLY THOSE WHO WANT ONE????

I have to agree...

The idea for a "credit card-like" CWNE ID card that lists all the exams you have successfully passed is a great idea.

CWNE is still a relatively new certification track that many people have not heard about yet. So having some type of documentation that was portable and could also visually explain the different levels of the certification would be great for interviews and explaining your achievements to friends and co-workers.

As suggested above, maybe make the ID card optional for those who would in fact find it to be valuable. At the conclusion of the exam (if the person has passed), give them the choice to receive only the certificate or both a certificate and an ID card.

Obviously there is a cost to implement the ID card idea on Planet3's end, but it seems something of this sort would help marketing in some way.
