My answer is E or all of the above.

All of the devices can effect loss in a RF signal path. The possibility exists due to mismatch of impedencce and therefore care must be taken to make sure that the impedances are matched.

But Amplifier always have positive gain(dbi)
I dont think amplifier is the answer

Read the question carefully:

The question does not ask which of the following device can be used to cause a loss to a RF signal path......the question is which of the following devices can cause loss to RF signal path. IF we were to merely base the answer on the purpose and properties of the devices, then the answer would be just D....

ANSWER IS ALL OF THE ABOVE...LOSS OCCURS AS IT PASSES THRU ALL DEVICE...REGUARDLESS IF IT INCREASES SIGNAL...

Generally, implementing an amplifier into the process is not going to generate a loss.
