| does the fresnel zone applies for indoor wireless equipment or not. as the cwna book says that most of the rf signals pass through walls .... etc. how can we acheive a fresnel zone inside a building like blocking the signal partially or fully? | |

| If I remember correctly, in practice, calculating a fresnel zone indoors would not be practical.
All the examples in the CWNA guide are in the context of outdoor applications | |

| 'not practical' is correct. the fresnel zone is always there because it's a property of an RF transmission, but since the perspective of the client moves as the client moves, it would be impossible to calculate it indoors due to an ever-changing environment. good question! |
