| Hi there fellas,
I have been contemplating studying for CWNA since a month now. I realise that wireless is the next thing and going by the trend in the industry, its all the more clear. I am a graduate engineer, but my networking background is limited to theoretical concepts & hardware. Since i'm working in the wireless industry at the moment as a Tech. Support Specialist, I have gained a fair bit of knowledge in this field. But I wanna progress and the only way i see it is by studying hard and securing the wireless certifications. So, could anyone tell me plzzz the resources I need to study. I know there is an official guide but seems like that might not be enough. Is there anything else I should be referring to or is the study guide enough.
Also, what about the practical part of the certification. If one studies by himself/herself, are there resources to practically test what you're studying, as one would see in an institute? Thereare two books I saw that promise help with this: Proxim ORiNOCOŽ Self-Study Lab Exercises, Symbol Spectrum24 Self-Study Lab Exercises. Would anyone tell me if these are good and would I need both of these or just one is enough?
I would really appreciate any help in this matter, any links any books, any equipment.
Thanx |
