| Hi Guys
I wanted to find out , how do we test that a laid RF cable like the Andrew LDF4 , is performing to full capacity.
Any meters specially for checking cable loss end to end?
thanks | |

i have a lot of sites, begining to show increased latency, and fluctuations.
what equipment do you use there for interference calculation, RF cable testing, antenna testing etc.

| Well....not sure how much help I can be here. The custom solution we use utilizes PoE, so I have not had to mess too much with the RF cables.
Not sure what the problems are, but a good wireless sniffer and a tool such as AirMagnet should allow you to see alot of what is going on in the background and get a grasp of what is happening.
I personally use Wildpackets Airopeek NX and Airmagnet on an iPAQ for all of our troubleshooting and investigation. |
