Hey all,

I have a question for you, I completed my Network+ exam and now on my way for my MCSA 2000 cert, Should I go in order or would 218 be easy enough to studay and take before 210/215?

Do not take 218 before 210 and 215. You will not understand the concepts unless you already know Windows 2000 and Active Directory inside and out. I would even recommend 216 and 217 before 218 if you do not have much experience in networking.

Do not use Network+ to judge your ability as it is a very base level certification.

aznluvsmc,

Thank you for the info. I will take 210 and 215 first. I do have experience with networking and familier with 2000 desktop admin but I will go thru the ranks and start at the begining.

Thanks again for your input, I really appreciate it.

I found the 218 to be more of a troubleshooting test, but since there is a good amount of 217 and 216 material on the exam, I would do the 210 and 215 first. It might be a better idea to take the 217 before the 218, as you'll cover about 75% of the exam with your work.

I found the new riders book to be one of the best around for this exam.
