Just wanted to post this to let everyone know that I will no longer be posting any QoD's or much of anything for that matter. I may pop in from time to time to see how things are going, but nothing permanent. I'm getting out of IT completely. I will be going on the road as a Customer Service Rep for a large trucking company, basically a Salesperson, getting accounts for the company. This will mean that I will be covering the lower 48, and sometimes into Canada. IT is just not paying for me lately, as I lost my last contract, which was supposed to be a 3 month to perm position, after only 2 months! They wanted to find someone that "better fit the needs of the company". Whatever that means!

So, you folks take it easy, and good luck in your pursuits. Later!

Sorry to hear about the job and even more so to hear that you are getting completely out of I.T. It would be a shame for all that knowledge to go to waste. Good luck and best wishes.

I can definitely understand how you feel mrfixit. Sometimes you lose sight of your goals because things aren't going your way. I have definitely experience that considering the length of my unemployment period. Many a times I contemplated moving into a different sector so on this note, best of luck in your new role.

I hate to see you leave, old Friend.
But Food needs to get on the Table, i understand that.
How about opening your own Business?
That's what i did after not finding a Job in IT.( well, i only looked for 3 weeks)
And things couldn't be better now.
However...
which ever way you go, i whish you the best!
