| Just wanted to post this to let everyone know that I will no longer be posting any QoD's or much of anything for that matter. I may pop in from time to time to see how things are going, but nothing permanent. I'm getting out of IT completely. I will be going on the road as a Customer Service Rep for a large trucking company, basically a Salesperson, getting accounts for the company. This will mean that I will be covering the lower 48, and sometimes into Canada. IT is just not paying for me lately, as I lost my last contract, which was supposed to be a 3 month to perm position, after only 2 months! They wanted to find someone that "better fit the needs of the company". Whatever that means!
So, you folks take it easy, and good luck in your pursuits. Later!

| Sorry to hear about the job and even more so to hear that you are getting completely out of I.T. It would be a shame for all that knowledge to go to waste. Good luck and best wishes. | |

| I can definitely understand how you feel mrfixit. Sometimes you lose sight of your goals because things aren't going your way. I have definitely experience that considering the length of my unemployment period. Many a times I contemplated moving into a different sector so on this note, best of luck in your new role. | |

How about opening your own Business?
That's what i did after not finding a Job in IT.( well, i only looked for 3 weeks)
And things couldn't be better now.

| Really it sad that u leave IT.
We should act in 2004 to protect IT from Corporate America that moved over 1 million of job to India.
We need a president that care about the middle class,Protect IT PEOPLE .same here if I do ont find a job IT job soon , I ll leave IT i M LOOKING FOR A JOB OVER A YEAR NO CHANCE SO FAR.Mr Bush pls do something | |
