| Okay, made it easy yesterday, so gonna do a tougher one today.... (bwahahaha)
The management of cyberco.com has decided that a uniform password policy needs to exist for all users in the enterprise. The policy should enforce a minimum password length of 6 characters, a maximum password age of 30 days, a minimum password age of 1 day, and a password history of 12 passwords. The Active Directory structure of cyberco.com includes four additional subdomains called namerica.cyberco.com, europe.cyberco.com, samerica.cyberco.com, and spacific.cyberco.com that have been created for administrative purposes. Because the migration to Windows 2000 has just recently been completed, no new Group Policy Objects have yet been created. What would be the easiest way to enforce the password policy settings throughout the enterprise?
A)Modify the Default Domain Policy with the password settings.
B)Create a GPO in each domain with the password policy settings.
C)Create a GPO at the cyberco.com domain called Password Policy Settings with the
password policy settings.
D)Link the Password Policy Settings GPO from the cyberco.com domain to each subdomain.
E)Move all users in the subdomains to the Users container of the cyberco.com domain.
Good luck! See you tomorrow! | |

| .... or is it too "easy"? | |

| The easiest method is the least creative. It lacks the characteristic charm and savior fare of most Microsoft experiences.
Without pain, there is no gain.
Also, Enforcer's IPSEC question probably fried a couple brain cells.
Cheers,

| I was going to give this one a little more time, but....

A)Modify the Default Domain Policy with the password settings.
To have the same password policy on all domains in cyberco.com, you must modify the Default Domain Policy at the top-level domain. Because you did not create any additional GPOs at the subdomain and because the default behavior for the Default Domain Policy is to have it copied to all subdomains in an Active Directory structure, modifying the default domain policy on cyberco.com accomplishes all the required goals. |
