| I'm mainly a lurker here, but I've been reading a lot over the past few weeks since I found this site, and this site and forums have really helped me. So I wanted to say thanks to everyone here  .
Now on to 216, and I'll be MCSA!

I think I read somewhere on here to use TestKing, so I did. Best choice I ever made. I took the testking practice tests over and over until I was consistently passing. Made the actual exam very easy, since I was already used to the style of questions and what they were looking for as far as answers - which is typically my problem when taking tests.

yes ghaouf you are correct maybe noone heard you but bro i did
isnt testking word for word question and if so would you say that you dont know anything just memoriezed some question and did not burn your eyebrows studying like i am doing to study for this test, i have a Microsoft published book and along with VMware and all the excersis printed out to do over and over and over again to really learn it and you just burned your brain on testking and learned question word for word and then took the test, anyway welcome to the board and enjoy your paper cert | |

okay isles1 here i go .Testking is a word for work dump that you buy from testking so what he did was study the questions and go and take the test and wala he passed because he got the questions and answer from testking study material. he did not say i studied with X amount of books no he said he passed by using testking that answer you question | |

Oh, I see what you're saying. You're saying it's bad to use study guides.
I guess I didn't mention the 2 books I bought - the Microsoft Press 70-218 Readiness Review and Sybex Study Guide - and the MOC classes I took (and spent $5,000 to do so), and the 3 years work experience I have in the field.
I guess I didn't mention the 2 months of preparation using those study guides and included CD-Rom's to study my XXX off before I even thought to look for additional ways to pass the exams.
I also guess I didn't mention my learning disability and the extended time I got from Prometric to be able to complete the exam - A learning disability that makes it nearly impossible for me to take exams like this. Oh, and incidentally, makes it really hard (impossible, actually) for me to "memorize" large amounts of information like you alledge that I did. If I had the ability to "burn" the answers into my mind, I would have done so for 70-216 & 70-217 which I've already taken once and failed because I failed to prepare as well as I did for this exam.
I guess I also didn't mention (at least in this thread) how I've already passed 70-210 & 70-215 before I ever even heard of testking or knew what a Brain Dump was.
So yes. It's a paper cert. Totally. 100%. I feel really guilty about it too. 
I guess I was remiss for leaving out the above details in my original post, but I strongly believe it was testking - and using their online exam prep tests to assess what I know and to further research and study the material that I didn't - that helped me to pass this exam.
So, yes. I used TestKing. I used their practice exam, just like you'd get from Transcender or whatever. So the questions might be similar to the exam. So what? It's the same with anything else. I still took the time to learn everything that was on the exam.
Next time, feel free to ask for a clarification before jumping to your conclusions and posting a practically unintelligable response to my thread.
Oh, and thanks for the welcome .
To everyone else - thanks for your congrats! I'm going to schedule 70-216 for the middle of August. And I plan on spending all the time in between studying the exam prep that I am going to buy for over $200, just like I did for 218.
