| I'm allowing 6 - 8 weeks per exam.
Except this one. I'm still trying to save the money to buy the M$ Study Guide.
Our exchange rate sucks.
Try paying double what you pay for books & exams, on half the salary.

| i am taking this next and i have not spent anytime on it yet..i just got the study material and need to get cracking, i would say a month with VMware installed and running nicely i would say a month, i can study at work because its only me working my shift so i take advantage of that time to study, four days straight of readying is not bad, i can read the book in about a week so its not bad, then i go home and practice with VMware and run through the excersis, what i do is print out the excersises at work from the book chapter and lesson, so if its chapter 1 lesson 1 i will print it out and go home and practice it | |

| where do you get the excersises from, and don't you get bored after a while. i wish i could read a book in a week, well i could read it in a week but i wont understand a word, even if i read it in a month i wont understand a word. | |

| i print excersises from the end of the chapter..if you have the PDF versio of the book then you can just print out the pages you want | |

| I found this test harder than 70-215. I used Que MCSA 70-218 book and it is a killer. 1000 pages or something. I planned about 30 days or so to study but i got a contract job half way through so it took me 6 weeks. Know DNS and DHCP well. | |

Who am I to suggest to someone how long they need to spend studying for an exam? My only suggestion is to take as long as you need until you feel you understand the material required. I would also think that the answer to this question is the same for all certification exams you want to take. In reality, only you can answer your own question.

For me, 1 month. That's the usual time I set aside to try and knock an exam out in. However, if it takes me longer, so be it. Certification is not a race, and I'm not bound by any timeframe to obtain a certain level of certification by. | |

| Does anyone know what the passing score for 70-218? I know it's a pass fail but I had found a site which actually told you the passing percentage that you need but ended up losing the link. I know 70-215 Win2000 Server is 66% and 70-215 Win2000 Pro is 62%. From what I see to previous responses its about 65 or 66% which is probably correct.
I also noticed that both the two exams I took were the long ones. Are they not offering the adaptive tests anymnore or was I just lucky?
