| Just got back from the exam and I passed. It was a bit more difficult than I imagined, there were a few questions that were not totally apparent.
My preparation included passing 217 previously, taking MOC 2153 and 2154 and reading the MS press book. I also used the Transcender and I read about 15-25 Test King questions.
I can see where people can argue that the Test King is cheating, there were at least 5-6 questions which were on Test King whcih were verbatim to questions on the exam. I really don't have the patience to read through a test king, I read about 15-25 questions and like I said, there were about 5-6 questions from those on the exam.
I think MS needs to do something about the Test King, definitely change the questions more frequently, perhaps on a weekly or monthly basis. I do however feel that people who take the exam should use every available resource to prepare for the exam.
The concern of mine is that if the questions are available on the Test King, then the certification will become worthless as anyone who can read a brain dump can pass. It is sort of a paradox, you should be able to prepare adequately for the exam using all available resources but then the exam should measure experience, knowledge and competency, not memorization.
Anyhow, I am glad to complete my second exam. I feel that I am very near being ready for Server (70-215) so I plan to attack that obstacle next.
