| I booked over the internet to do the 218 exam on the Saturday because i work during the week. Well i roll up to the testing centre and nobody is in the building to let me in or for me to do the exam.
I waited for 1.15 hours outside on the cold cement ringing the place non stop then my mobile phone plan is wasted. Took me an hour by bus to get there an hour and half to get back. I was angry i was ready to do it today. I don't get much time to study during the week and now this makes it harder.
I will ring the bastards on Mon to reschedule the exam and i will demand a freeby or a voucher for the next one. If not i'll take my business to Prometric.
Bloody VUE! | |

| nero64,
Yeah, it's bad to hear that. I did 6 exams with VUE, and 2 with Prometric (all 2 with vouchers).
Once I sched. with Prometric, but one day before the exam I contact the Test Center to confirm, and the M#$%^*& said that he was with some problems to sched the exam, blablabla. It's very frustrating...
Anyways, good luck.

| I rang VUE and they said the actual testing centre that i booked to do the exam is not open on Saturdays. So why did the registration online system let me book it in? Anyway i finish my contract job on Friday so i rescheduled to do it next Mon, 12 days behind schedule. I didn't ask for a free voucher i doubt i would of got one anyway. I have to keep up the review somehow but it will be hard i have studied so long for this 218 exam. | |

| Had a problems with both SP & Vue centres. Some open at weekends and some dont. the Vues centres are just more convenient for me. Tis a bit crappy though to take your booking when the place is gonna be shut. You wait for 70-216, the exam software crashed twice on me before I passed it. What fun, cant wait to finnish with 70-219 on Monday. Desperately need to sort out my social live before thinking about Cisco in July. PS 20-718 is great as a revision prelim for 70-216 plus you get MCSA for choosing an easy elective.

| i booked my a+ exams via prometric and my network+ with vue. the bastards at vue didn't use my comptiaid and i ended up not only getting another comptiaid, but my name was spelt wrong on my cert.
i sent messages to both vue and comptia to clear it up, but finally ened up phoning comptia diretly to get a result. comptia changed my details onto the one account but refuse to issue a new cert. vue are just shites
i'll still end up using them though, as voucher vendors only seem to support vue outside of us/canada, plus the nearest vue centre is 16 miles away and the nearest prometric centre is 40. | |
