| Everyone has their right to speak their mind, ask their question(s) and give their opinion(s). That being said:
This is the DUMBEST question I have ever heard in my entire life. It makes absolutely no sense.

Well that explains everything now eh?

| I have just a couple of questions
How come Bud Black (a former major league pitcher) was White and Frank White (a former major league second baseman for the KC Royals) was Black?
If Train A leaves the station at 8:00 AM and is traveling at 35MPH and Train B leaves the same station 2.5 hours later traveling at 50MPH and going in the exact same direction as Train A, how long will it take Train B to overtake Train A?

Spid, this is the last time I'll be doing your math homework. Train B will over take train A in 8:20. So if train B left at 10:30AM then it would catch the other one at 6:50PM. The formula is 35T=50(T-2.5)
HTH.

| since they are going in the exactly same direction they are on the same track hence it will never overtake it, it will just ram into it. | |
|
| I thought about that after I posted. I should have stated parallel tracks. | |

| some more questions:
Who put the bomp in the bomp-a-bomp-a-bomp?
Who put the ram in the ram-a-lam-a-ding-dong?
Who put the bop in the bop sh-bop sh-bop?
Who put the dip in the dip da dip da dip?

Theoretically I can say that there is no chance TrainB to overtake TrainA.
Given that TrainA leaves the station 2.5 hours before TrainB does. By the time TrainB leaves, TrainA is 87.5 miles away. When TrainB gets to the point TrainA were when its leaves the station, TrainA will go further, then TrainB has to catch up.
This keeps going on and on....
I read a similar scenario like this over ten years ago or so.
Practically, TrainB can overtake TrainA if both travelling in parallel or will ram into TrainA if they travel in the same track...
Cheers
