| I passed the 218 exam this morning (10/20). Questions were long....typical Microsoft format.
I used the MS Press book, the Sybex book, as well as the ExamCram2 book.
I really didn't feel I was ready for this exam when I walked in. If I had 24 hrs notice to cancel the exam, I probably would have. I've been studying for about 4 months for this exam. Plus I'm a Win2k Asst. Net Admin, so I use some (20-30%) of this stuff everyday. I felt like I burned out sometime over the weekend with trying to cram every last ounce I could before exam time. Also I took as many practice exams, and question of the days that I could find on the net. Some exams I scored well on. Others I would score anywhere from 30-50%. That made me nervous.
Anyway, once I got in there and got into the flow of things, I felt better. Apparently I was feeling great, because I was able to score a 910 which shocked the heck out of me. Good thing I didn't cancel.
So, now I'm an MCSA. Did it with the A+/Net+. Now I'm trying to decide whether to go with 216 or 217. Any advice is appreciated. | |

| Took the 70-218 test on sat the 18. I am now a MCSA:Security. I have been using the Mike Myers passport series and Cybex. Studying now for the 70-220. Hope to be MCSE by the new year that is my goal. Keep studying everyone.
