70-218 easiest exam of them all ?
|
|
|
| All,
passed 70-218 today, too easy I think, passed with a score of 994 (only made 4 errors), passed in about 35 minutes.
Then again I just passed 217 a few days ago and the part of active directory was at 100% correct
No blue borders, and no tricky questions,
well hell I am a MCSA from now on

| Congrats on the pass. I'll be taking mine in the next month. It's a little re-assuring to know it wasn't real difficult. | |

| The best advice I can give you is taking 210 / 215 / 216 and 217 prior to the 218 exam, then re-read all your notes and you shouldn't have any problems | |

Congratulatin , I M little bit concerned about ur score and u passed 70-217 few days ago , what is ur secret, is it some test killer ?
My 70-218 is was hard and long the important i pass I do not care about the grade .

| After my 70-216 exam I decided to take 217 and 218 in the same week. I took a look at the things I needed to know and the 70-218 exam contains nothing new so it wouldn't be too hard to study.
Anyways I use the cerebra courses for basic information and hands on practice. Futher on I used an MCSE study book which cotains all information about the 4 core exams. Next I try to find some cramsheets like on www.certifyyourself.com and read 'em through.
Finally I try to solve as many questions as I can find on the net, take practice tests on every site.
But as said before 70-218 is just a combination of the 4 core exams so if you are able to complete the other 4 you won't have any problems with 70-218.

| Congreats on your pass I'm taking the 218 in two weeks. I feel pretty good about it. I have no problems with the pratice test that I have taken up to date so I should do fine. | |

| Congrats on your pass. I found this one of the easiest exams also. I took after I passed the upgrade for 2000 and the other electives I had to take. It had to be one of the easiest tests MS test I took. | |

| I have to agree. I guess MS decided we needed a little break from all the other grueling exams.
Let's be thankful they're not all that easy. If they were, we'd have way too many paper MCSE's running around.
|
| True,
I saw the exam more as a revision exam. Maybe it is that what makes it so easy.
Anyways today the studying for 70-219 will start

| Glad to hear its not that bad.
Im still not very hot on the ip subnetting bit and backed out of doing 70-216 during study because everyone i know has failed it first time.
Do you think its worth doing 70-218 before 70-216 so I can get an MCSA before an MCSE?
|
| My advice is take 70-216 and 70-217 before the 70-218 exam, then you only need revision, nothing new in the 70-218 exam if you take the others in advance. | |

| I took the 218 exam the 2nd day it was out. I didn't study at all and passed with a 800+.
218 is not as in depth as 216. So if 216 scares you, I would try 218 first.
Just my opinion. | |
