| Haven't studied for an exam in 10 months but now I am ready to start again. I have some books for 70-218, the official Microsoft ones that I bought a year ago. Is there anything better available now? Great to be back.

It depends on the individual as you know. I used Osbourne's 218 study guide and MS press 70-215, it has a lot of cross over stuff. Also white papers about all subjects relating to 218. They tend to be indepth but gives you a different perspective.
My main exam questions were on:
DNS
RRAS
network testing (pinging, ipconfig etc...)
