| Welcome to the forum and congrats on your pass.
Were the questions sort of general knowledge or did they ask for depth and detail?
|
| The questions where general knowledge. On how you would go about and do something. Select one or two answers from a select of four or five answers. | |

| As you now have your MCSE, go for a different platform. Unix/Linux/Mac/Netware/etc. | |

| I passed 70-218 also this morning (Monday).
The fact that there is no pass mark nor a pass score is scary, I keep thinking that everything is wrong... I had a look at 216, it looks HARD...
After I finish MCSA, I'm not sure if I should continue on and do MCSE or try something like Sun Solaris... An associate said I should do Sun but I'm not sure of the benefits...

To my knowledge Solaris is used alot!!! (as alternative to M$ and the increasingly-more-common Linux). I just finished a project with the main 'business' highly relying on Solaris. Anyways, I've got a colleague who's working as sys admin, basically what his job scopes are combination of MCSA/MCSE, A+ and SCNA.
So, it depends on your current job needs, and if you have plans to move on!!!
Don't forget these have big guys behind them: MCSA/MCSE (by M$), SCNA (by Sun) -> so, it WON'T hurt to be familiar with them
my 2 cents |
