| This morning I passed 70-218. I am pretty happy about it since it makes me an MCSA. I have heard multiple things about the difficulty of the exam, but now I will add my 2 cents.
I thought the exam was "hard enough". If you have a good understanding of the core four and review with a good book, you will pass with ease.
If you think that you can just expect a passing score just because you completed the core four already, think again. This exam really does challenge you and you have to prepare for it as such.
The majority of the exam was about DNS and DCHP and how to troubleshoot them. There were a couple RRAS, routing, and NTFS perms thrown in there for fun.
Anyways, MCSA is done, one more to go for MCSE. I think I am going to do 70-220 since security is such a hot issue. | |

| The test was 50 questions.....mostly about DNS and DHCP. There were a couple questions in there about routing and NTFS permissions, but that was about it. Nothing really jumped out at me as being really hard.
A lot of people had said that there were a lot of exhibits on this one, but I didn't really think so....maybe 1 out of 5 questions.
Anyways, for all those who have yet to take this exam, just study like normal and don't take it lightly, and you will pass with flying colors. |
