| How difficult is 218? All I need to finish my MCSA is 218. The testkiller I've been reading for it (Yes, I KNOW about testkillers/troytec) never fails to put me to sleep. Every single time, in the middle of the afternoon at the library.
I've had about all the free classes I need, for both 217 and 220. All I need to finsh my MCSE 2k is 217 and 220. Is 218 passable on the 1st time? DOn't forget, I can'tfind a job to get any hands-on exp. to help pass the stupid exams.
They told me at new horizons I shouldbe able to walk into the booth and pass it no problem. The testkiller had question about group policies, efs, etc. How difficult ARE 218, 217, and 220?

| Put down the TestKiller and pick up the MS Press Training Kit for 218. Go over your notes from the free classes you took. If you don't understand GPOs and how and where they are applied and in what order you won't pass the 218 exam. It is a combination of 210, 215, 216 and 217 all rolled into one test and then looked at from the "how come it ain't working" perspective.
This test should not be taken lightly. You will need to be very comfortable with GPO, DNS, DHCP, IIS, and some WINS for fun.

| I am aiming to take this one by the end of the month, so if you want some help then please contact me and maybe we can help each other out. (I take it you got the TestKiller before they were closed then). | |

| The only testkiller I don't have is for 70-220. So far all I've gotten out of the testkiller for 218 is an afternoon nap. Been working on GPOs on my machine at home, feel a little better about them, now. Just wasn't sure what exam I should do next. think maybe I'll try 70-217 next, and finish off my core four. Thinking about maybe doing it as soon as Tuesday.
I thought 218 was pretty much a review test. Didn't realize it was so heavy into GPOs. MaybeI better go download the 218 Prep Guide again from MS. I know I have one here someplace. I had heard that after 216, all the exams were all downhill. Guess I shoulda known better. D'oh!

| Have you looked at the cramsession study guide for the 218, it is quite good? Make sure you know more about IIS and TS than you needed for the 215. | |

| If not, try and find some more braindumps on the subject!!!!!!

Why not put some really effort in? Have you considered learning the subject matter instead of relying on braindumps?
Were you not the one who failed 216 several times??
After checking you took the exam six times before you passed it, complaining along the way that you couldn't pass!!!!!!
I'm not surprised if you were using braindumps all the time. As a matter of interest, have you achieved all your certifications in this manner?

| I guess so.

Not to sound discouraging, but 70-217 is almost as difficult as 70-216, and 70-220 is pretty intensive, as well (involves case studies, if I remember correctly).
