| Phew, another one down and 4 more to go for MCSE. 70-218 was an average test with several group policy questions, DNS and DHCP questions. Some questions were very simple, others were long. There were very few IIS questions. As mentioned before by others, it is best described as a troubleshooting test. Before 218, I did 210 and 215 and moving on to 216 to get MCSA. I felt pretty comfortable with 218. It covered most of the things I learned in 210 and 215 and some hands-on here at work.
I looked through 216 already and really, it didn't look too bad. I was kinda surprised. I am sure that it is tougher than it looks.
For those getting ready to take 218, good luck!

| 218 is an average and straight forward test. Best of luck on your remaining four! | |

| Congrats on your pass!
A+ will also cost him more to get than the MS test

| Captain, Captain, she won't boot! I'm down in engineering. A Klingon has stolen my recovery disk. I can't get Mr. Spock to lend a hand. He says that Active Directory is illogical. | |

| Good job Captain. But watch out for the 70-216. Especially RRAS & RIS, because you need hands on experience, and it's not always that simple to set up a good lab for these.
Good luck,

| pdevooght,
Thanks for the advice! Luckily, I just moved our network at work to a Windows 2000 network. We will be implementing RRAS very soon. As for RIS, I need to brush up on that. Don't use RIS at all. Thanks again!
Tech Ranger...hilarious!!!!! AD can definitely be most illogical! |
