| I took the 70-218 test this morning and was kind of caught off gard. I failed and am probably going to take it again in a couple of weeks. The test that I took was mainly AD and IIS. | |

| Welcome to the forum. Bad luck on that, mate. What materials are you using? This exam does tend to roll around AD, TS and IIS.  | |

| I am gearing up for this exam man. Can you further what other kinda stuff you saw? Was there a lot of command-line toubleshooting questions? I know there is a lot of AD and IIS on the test. How tough do you think it was? | |

| Funny, I took this test last week and the version I took was mostly group policys and DNS, with a little IIS and RRAS. Also, had some active directory, but mostly in a sense of publishing things, OU's, etc.
I didn't get many IIS or RRAS questions. | |

| This exam is really focusing on troubleshooting. My exam was quite focused on networking and name resolution (DNS/DHCP). I think i must have had the same one as StevoC.

I used the MOC's for the 4 MCSE core exams, went through the Preparation Guide for exam 70-218 , took the Transcender ManageCert and passed.
Should be an easy one for you!
