Can someone explain the difference between a VPN and a RRAS Connection?

| I believe that most people will agree on the fact that Transcenders are good for all exams.
RRAS creates all RAS connections and deals with the routing area.
You create a VPN via RRAS. The main difference between a normal RAS connection and a VPN is the a VPN is a secure connection, utilising either PPTP or L2TP + IPSec.

| I used Transcenders for all my exams up to now (6 yet) and am quite satisfied about them. My experience is that these are generally harder than the real exam.

| Hey guys,
As i read through different threads dealing with the quality of the Transcender practice exams, it seems that american people are generally less satisfied about these than european fellows.
I found the Transcender good enough, even for this exam. I had the opportunity to follow the MOC classes for the 4 core exams, and used this material as well to study for the 70-218, while having the "Skills being measured" alongside. Then took the Transcender to find out where i was standing, and passed without a problem.
As stated by other people already, you shouldn't focus too much on the similarity of the questions, but rather look for yourself, while doing the practice, how much of the stuff you really know. And this is really what it's all about.
A last thing, ever tried the MS readiness reviews? I don't think they come even close to Transcender, especially because of the lack of a good explanation of the answer!
Good luck
Pat
PS: Lexy, I hope i didn't type too much spelling errors... |
