| Way to go Pav! Enjoy your break.
I have to admit, I'm having a hard time getting back up to speed after my break. But I'm really glad I took some time off. | |

| Congratulations on your pass and on your certification. How many more until you are MCSE?

| Congratulations on your MCSA. What are your general impressions of the test? | |

| Thanks gang! I am moving VERY slow this morning It was a rough couple of weeks and I just feel like I could use some "down" time and not read any questions that start with:
"You are the Network Administrator of contoso.com, or fabrikam.com, or trey research..." I wish they'd be more creative in how they set up the questions. And I really wish there was a testing center with 21" monitors so that I wouldn't have to scroll so much to read the freakin' questions! It's hard to read some of the questions when there is an exhibit that you have to scroll to see all of.
I found the 218 test to be the second easiest test of the 4 I've taken from MS. The first being the 210, but that's because I've used 2000 Pro at home for over 2 years and have administered a 2000 network for almost 2 years. There were a number of questions on the tests that experience alone got me through. IIS, Term. Svcs., DNS, GPO, share permission, NTFS permissions. There were some drag & drop questions - mine were extremely easy - like dragging the IP address, subnet mask and default gateway to the one computer on the network that can't talk to the others. |
