Was it an easy or difficult test?

| I want to hear from people who have taken the 70-218 test. Was it easy or difficult in comparison to the others in the MCSA line up?
Thanks.. | |

| In comparison to the others in the MCSA line up, I found it to be the easiest one. It's basically a review of everything covered by the four cores with the main focus being on troubleshooting. If you have been doing plenty of hands on during the course of passing your other core exams, then you will not find the 218 exam difficult. Good luck! | |

| Ditto remarks on Zara, like the first 2 cores. Knowing your stuff, you pass simple as that | |

That's fine, but the core four are not required for MCSA. Do you think its easy studying for 218, when you have not done 216 or 217 yet? You need 210, 215, 218, and an elective. I am using A+ and Net+ in lieu of the elective.

| I would advise people to take the 210/215/216/217 before taking the 218 this not only gives you the four core towards MCSE but also an elective. So one design exam and another elective and MCSE you are!!
Not knowing what is contained in the Network+ or Server+ exams I could not tell you if this will help with say IIS, pathping, etc.
Personally, MS should not have introduced the CompTIA exams into the equation but there must be a reason somewhere ....

Let me qualify: If you have already accomplished 210, 215, & 216, then the 218 is not that difficult.
For all of you guys using the two CompTIA exams as part of your qualifications for the MCSA, I highly recommend you do the 216 exam at some point, as you will learn so much! IMHO, much more than any of the other cores!

| What I want to know is: is it as wordy as all the practice tests I've seen? (Fravo, Examdrill, Cert21, etc.)
If so, I don't know if I can do it in 90 minutes. |
