| Well I took this exam last night and actually going through the exam, I thought I did well enough to pass, but that was not the case. I just wish microsoft would tell us a score or at least the areas we missed. Since everyone seems to be passing this exam and I don't see anyone posting about failing the exam, I'm not ashamed of it really. I'm gonna continue studying and will probably take it next week. I used Fravo and cramsession study guide, so I will continue using these resources. | |

| This exam does seem well written. Maybe MS implement a high pass mark. Then should bring back the scores that's true. Better luck next time. | |

| The new scoring format bites because you can't tell if you failed by 2 points or 20. Just brush yourself off, and go tackle it next time. Barely anyone passes all the MS tests on the first try. Most people just won't admit it here..hehe. Good luck on the next round! | |

| This exam is cover 4 cores (210,215,216,217).
Please try to take 210 and 215 first than take 218.

You won't pass this exam just using these resources - you need to know the system inside out and how to repair it therefore, "hands-on" is a must for this exam.

| I would agree; you need better resources to pass this exam. I'm using the MS Press 70-218 & transcenders. I' just starting to study for this exam; I'm planning on taking it in late Augest.
I have use MS Press and Transcenders to pass my first 5 exams(70-210, 70-215, 70-216, 70-217, and 70-222). It takes about 8-10 weeks per exam.
For all of you that say transcender cost to much; you say: you can't afford transcender(~118.00 on sale) and I say: I can't afford re-takes ($125.00).
GOOD LUCK on your re-take.

Agreed. Get yourself the MOC for the 2126 class, or the MS Press Kit. 70-218 for Freaks! would not hurt either

| At least you guys have study guides geared towards the test. When I took it (and passed) all I had was an objective outline from Microsoft and a butt load of exam prep books : 70-210, 70-215, 70-216, 70-217, etc. Imagine having to filter through all those books to read about the topics covered in 70-218.
Well, that's how I did it and passed the exam 4 days after it came out.
Moral of the story - there's not one.
Good luck on the next round of testing! |
