| Has anyone used the learnkey videos for the 2000 track, especially the 70-218. I was thinking of trying the videos instead of just reading through the whole course(i will obviously use a study guide to back up and study certain area's as well as the 2k server resource kit)If you used this method of studying did you find it anygood? | |

| To me no. I used the MS Press Kit book and i merely touched on the transcender module. If you can recall well your previous core exams. You should do well enough to pass the exam | |

| I use the LearnKey CDs and they are very excellent. However, the LearnKey series needs to be supplemented with a good comprehensive book and plenty of hands on. I would never sit a Microsoft certification exam using just the LearnKey CDs, without first reading and studying a very complete book and doing all the lab exercises.
In fact, for the 70-218, I will do without the LearnKey series for this one cert, since it wasn’t available when I purchased my package. However, I don’t need it for this one! Without a doubt, I could have passed the 70-218 the same day I passed the 70-216 if I had wanted to. Instead, I’m using the MS Press book on this one and slowly doing all the lab exercises first. When I am through with that process, I will watch all the LearnKey CDs one more time and then go pass the exam. I just couldn’t pass up this midstream opportunity to review everything that I have learned so for and earn another cert in the process! Good luck!!!  | |

| Thank you very much Zaraspook. Thats exactly what I wanted to hear. Yeah I already know for sure I will be using a supplemental book to help with the study process, I just wanted to make sure the majority of the content on the video was good. your comment stating the learnvideos are excellent was a great help. See I've passed 210, 215,and 216. But my active directory and group policy knowledge is not up to par due to me taking the 210 and 215 more then a year ago.(got a new job and didn't have time to study). I just passed 216 friday and know the network side but I wanted something to quickly get me into the main concepts of this test by helping me cover most of the GPO and ADS information I need to know. I do alot of lab work(2 servers and a laptop client) and I will work away on alot of concepts. Thank you for the response it was greatly appreciated. |
