| Well, got this one out of the way! I am really glad.
I have taken the exams in a different order...I passed Pro, took 218, and plan to take Server on Wed. this week. I had a class on 218 this past week, and wanted to take it while the material was fresh in my head. I learned all day in class, then went to the hotel room and studied non stop all week. It worked out well.
So anyway, after Server, I'll achieve MCSA status. Really looking forward to it! I am using my A+, Network + combination for the elective.
Has may others taken advantage of the CompTIA exams for the MCSA??

Congrats on passing 70-218. Yes, I did take the A+ and Net+ and have applied those towards my MCSA. I am taking the 70-218 on May 30th. I have checked my transcript on the MCP Secure Site and the CompTIA exams have been applied along with my 70-210 and 70-215 exams. So 1 more for me and then I am MCSA. Best of luck with 70-215. It was a little more difficult for me then 70-210. Just make sure you are prepared for it. | |

Congrats on passing 218. I did use my A+ and Net+ towards my MCSA status. The gentleman on the phone said it would clear in a week. When I logged on two days later, my transcript was updated. I am thinking that my TCP/IP test from MCSE NT4 counted as an elective towards my MCSA. |
