Just passed 218. Only problem is .... I don't know if I did "just" pass or if I cruised it. I know it's academic, but what if I'd failed ! Would I have "just" failed, or failed mightily. I think MS are a little unfair in the way they score this exam.
The exam was otherwise pretty fair, lots of IIS, GPO's, Terminal Services, DNS / WINS type questions, and oddly enough quite a few TCP Subnet/router questions which I wasn't expecting.
It does draw a lot on 210 & 215, although I can't comment on 216 as I haven't done that one yet - it's my next !!
Best of luck to all about to take 218, I'm off to the 216 forum.

| great job! Yup, it is a pass/fail grade now... a bit annoying, except when you pass 
I am working on the final pages of 218 for Freaks! as we speak. I really enjoyed that test. I thought it was a more interesting test than some others I took in the past. | |

| I passed 218 yesterday. It was a very straight foward common sense exam. I used the Microsoft 218( ISBN 0735615810)book and transcenders. My electives are the A+ and Net+ so as soon as that clears, I will be MCSA status. My next quest is Windows XP exam. Good luck and congratulations to everyone on passing this exam. It is really not that bad. |
