Q21. You are the network admin of your companies W2K Domain. Users of the W2K Pro desktops at your company are complaining to you that they are unable to change the "Path" System Environment Variables. They want to prevent having to memorize the entire folder path to run applications installed on their computers. What is the most likely cause of users not being able to modify System Environment Variables?

A. The user is not a member of the authenticated users group.

B. Windows 2000 automatically configures System Environment Variables, and only the operating system can modify these variables.

C. The user is not a member of the Local Administrator group on the W2K Pro desktop.

D. An autoexec.bat file exists that overwrites the System Environment Variable at each restart of the W2K machine.

Good Luck!

Correct answer is C!
Looks like everyone nailed it again today, so no explanation is really needed. SO I can get right to thinking up another question. I think we need a harder one today!
