I just did my first PXE install for Win2K Pro (too cool!) I read in Minasi's book that Microsoft had promised to release an updated RBFG.EXE file to include a more robust list of supported NIC's. Is there any truth to this rumor. I just spotted $99 bucks for a 3C905 card versus using the D-Link NIC I had for $19.

(Ok, for a preemptive strike for all those about to...I've quite my whining!)

Incidently, I find it interesting when you click the ABOUT button in the PXE disk boot creation window, the 3COM logo comes up.

(Officespace the Movie: "Yeeaaah, weeelll, I AM gonna need you to come in on Saturday, yeaaah") - Sorry, just getting giddy again.

I think 3Com developed the original software for it
