| Sorry i decide to take my 218 first exam first.
Though I've completed 210,215,216 already.
I understood that the 218 objectives cover these 3 exams.
Should I finish 218 first. Or do i finish 217 to settle all the cores?
Any advice would be greatful.
Thanks all.... | |

| I'm doing the same thing as you. Get your MCSA and continue with 217. | |

| I feel that studying for 217 also helps prepare you for 218. When I took it a week and a half ago, it was more based on 216 & 217 than 210 & 215. | |

| It's all up to you man, if you've already started studying for 218 then go for it. I've heard alot of the 217 material is in the 218 test, but I haven't taken 216 or 17 and still passed. Good luck on whatever you decide to do. | |

| Like the spudman says, "it's all up to you man." But the 218 first is the way to go! After the intensity of the 216, a nice easy less intense cert that kind of ties everything learned so for together seems to me to be the better path. It'll be a nice respite, before kicking up the intensity again for the 217 and 219 in quick succession. It'll also give you the MCSA -- a little motivation and reward midway through for all of your hard work! | |

| Members, Members thank you for the honest input. I have both books in fron to of me. Though I do look to the 218 for a relaxation. My gut holds strength and pushes me to settle all the main cores.
So I'm here to mention that 217 is my next conquest. Hopefully achievable by the second week of april.
Thank you all... | |

| I agree, it's up to you, however you feel. My opinion would be, go for the mcsa, then shhot for the mcse. That way you'll get 2 certs and get a little breather in there. I think if you could pass 216, you should be able to tackle anything else MS throws at you. Good Luck! | |

| Dude,
Six of one and a half dozen of the other. It appears that you are going to take both of the exams anyway so what does it really matter?
If you have begun preparing for the 217 then sit that first. Why chop and change halfway through the battle when the objective (taking both exams) hasn't changed?. If not then take the 218 first, especially if, according to other threads in this forum, it is a piece of cake. Take out the weakest link first in this instance.
Anyway that is my 5 cents.
Skills to you. | |

| I agree with johnno if you already have been studying for one exam stick to your guns and get it out of the way. Dont change course midway brother, see that exam thru and get it out of the way. But as everyone else has said it is all up to you. |
