| Got my MCSA today, only one more test to go for MCSE! A lot of people have written in the forums that if you have passed the core, this test is a breeze. I found out today that I TOTALLY agree 
A couple of notes for you guys still studying for this one.. know group policy, specifically what policies typically apply to what levels (password policy=domain, delegation of administration=OU, etc..). The RRAS was a major concern for me, but I found that the questions focused more on the client end than on the server end (much easier for me at least). The whole thing was completely troubleshooting various aspects of 2k, barely any implementation questions. Everything was "bob has a problem with.." instead of "mary wants to... how does she accomplish this?" I found that examining the specific objectives paid off big time for this one, as pouring over all 3 MOC books is really time consuming.. and only about half the chapters of each book were tested on this exam. Keep that in mind, you dont need to fill your head up with extra info, just focus on the specific objective topics and you will be all set! Anyone who wants more elaboration on this exam and what specifically it covers, send me an email and I will do my best to help you out. 70-221 next, and then I am finally out of this Microsh*t hell! | |

| The test was 60 questions, two and a half hours. I finished in about an hour and a half. I used the MOC books and browsed the dumps this morning before the test. I printed out the study guides from here, and no offense to the site or the author.. but it was a bit too generalized for me to grab anything substantial off of it. I honestly didn't study much for this, just reread the chapters in the MOC books that covered exam objectives and then went and took it. If you passed the core, a little review is all you should need. No heavy duty cramming like 70-216. Hehe Good luck on this one cross.. |
