Hey rus - I didn't forget...here we go

You have installed Terminal Services on a Windows 2000 domain controller, and the Terminal Services Client on the client computers, but users report they are not allowed to log in to the Terminal Services. As an administrator, you are able to log on to the Terminal server. How can you allow the other users to log on to the Terminal server?

A) Grant the users the right to log on locally.

B) Allow the users to log on as an Administrator.

C) Add the users to the local Administrators group

D) Add the users to the Domain Admins group

E) Reinstall Terminal Services

Good luck everyone!

That's cheating. You can't do that during the exam. I try to pretend it's always the real thing.

rus - i think that is a good initial approach, but if you don't look anything up, you don't learn anything. the questions that made me search are the ones that stuck with me

Your Answer:

Correct Answer: A) Grant the users the right to log on locally.

Explanation: When logging onto Terminal Services, users are considered to actually be logged onto the server. This is because the resources they are accessing are all stored on the server. Because of this, users must have access to log on locally to the server.

Good job everyone - see you tomorrow!
