Are there subnetting questions on this test? I am planning on taking it early next year but I know I will definitly have to brush up on subnetting as my brain has been processing other info.

You are allowed to use the calc in this exam... Of the 50 Q I took in August were no subnet Q... There are some basic netowrk trouble shoot, mostly GPO's...

Good Luck...

I used your guide for the upgrade test and I think one other test on the NT 4 track. It was great. I need a refresher so I will use it again.

No subnetting. You may need to pick the right gateway but I did not have subnetting.

I had questions that required you to understand subnetting, i.e. IP configs that were screwed up...

I had 50 questions. I don't remember getting any subnetting questions. I used 2 text books to prepare. I don't think either one dealt with this subject.

I had 63 Questions, some of which required knowledge of subnetting.

I am sure that I had to use my knowledge of subnets in order to solve some of the problems on my test, but I didn't get any of those heavy hitting numerical questions where you need to use a calc to figure out ranges, etc.
