| I really appreciate all the QODs and comments in this forum. I've been eavesdropping in here while preparing for the exam. The questions really help. I also used the Microsoft Self-study 70-218, the Readiness Review and Examcram for 216 and 217 to prepare. I sick of GPOs, DNS, RRAS, and IIS! Now I have to decide whether to study for the 216 or Comptia to finish my MCSA. I'm also considering the 214. Any thoughts? | |

| Great job on your MCSA! | |

| Congratulations!
As they say 216 is a complete beast but its worth the effort.
Good luck.

| Hearty congratulations on passing 70-218 dvinton! As for what route to take to finish off MCSA, do you want to take one more test or two more tests? Is it a matter of money? Time? In anycase, good luck with your next exam. | |

| Congrat.
216 is MS specific, and if you want to get MCSE, 216 is the way to go, Comptia sub is only good for MCSA.
It looks like that you are currently MS centric, so 216 may be the choice for you. Good luck on the future test.

| Great job!!
Hey I see you are from Cleveland! I live there too on the westside in North Olmsted. Nice to see another member from the area.

| Thanks for all your support! I'm not planning on getting an MCSE but who knows, I've changed my mind on alot of things since July. I think I'm just scared of the 216 based upon what I have read in this forum. I have all the materials for the 216 and money for tests is not an issue unless my company closes operations before I finish this trek. We've been sold and our office will be closed in 2003. Unless I move to LA, I'm out of a job. Thus, the push for certs! I need those to back up my experience.
Spid - It's a small, small world. I'm on the eastside in Lyndhurst.

Hi Luisjo....
just a comment: dont you think that you should change your avatar? i mean, ¿father Escrivá Balaguer is your avatar?
And yes! take 218 1st is a good choice. Many people agree with this option, because 218 is a review of 210, 215, 216 and 217. So, if you already passed 210 and 215, 218 will be easier.

| Saint Josemaria Escriva de Balaguer its like a father to me, he founded the Opus Dei (which means Obra de Dios), Thank God im a member of Opus Dei, so its like saying Thanks boss for helping me.
Hope it doesnt bother you.
See you.

| Hearty Congratulations and hey Deja - count me in for the lunch excursion - only 1 1/2 hours south! | |

| Yepp, we usually meet in the Newport Beach Area, but perhaps we could have Lunch in or around Oceanside...that'll be better for pavlov, too.
I don't mind driving.

| It will have to be a virtual lunch as I'm not moving to LA.
luisjo - I think taking the 218 before the 216 is best. I reviewed the 216 and 217 before taking the 218 but not in the depth needed to pass either one of those tests.

| Thanks for the tips, im studing for the 218, wow have you seen the ms press book for the 218, its a 1020 or so pages, i usually read from paste to paste, so i have a lot to read for my 218.
See you.
