Subject: I hate GPO Questions

Q.) You are the administrator on a Windows 2000 network. All client computers are running Windows 2000 Professional and are members of the attech.com domain. All users are members of the local Power Users group on their client computers. A user has dial-up access to the Internet for a special project she is working on. You do not want the user to share her Internet connection with other users. What should you do?

A.) Create a high security zone in MS IE.

B.) Create a Group Policy Object (GPO) that disables the configuration of connection sharing. Make sure the user is granted Read and Apply group Policy permissions to the GPO.

C.) Create a Group Policy Object (GPO) that disables the configuration of connection sharing. Grant other users the Read and Apply Group Policy permissions to the GPO.

D.) Remove the Internet connection from the All Users profile on the user’s computer and then recreate the connection in the user’s personal profile.

I would also choose

B.) Create a Group Policy Object (GPO) that disables the configuration of connection sharing. Make sure the user is granted Read and Apply group Policy permissions to the GPO.

Correct. 100% again everyone! Good job.
The correct answer is B.) Create a Group Policy Object (GPO) that disables the configuration of connection sharing. Make sure the user is granted Read and Apply group Policy permissions to the GPO.
