I havent taken any tests in years the last was NT 4.0, has anyone used the Transcender practice tests. I know they are a bit expensive but i was wondering if anyone has used these lately and are they still worth the money

Personally If your going to spend money on practice exams I would recommend a membership with www.actualtests.com. Ive used them in conjunction with the sybex study guides for 70-218 and security+. They both have been right on. You pay for the access to the site . After that you can download all the study material you want.
Hope this helps

The certification examinations have become more difficult over the years, including Microsoft.

Measureup supplies test questions for Readiness Review which are published in Microsoft Press books.

Their web site has demo questions that can be downloaded for free.

They are of the type and level of difficulty of questions on the real test.

I use Transcender and find them very good; I supplement them with Measureup.

My two cents.
