| Is there going to be a forum for the new xp mcdst exams, is anyone talking about them yet ...
I have earmarked these 2 exams for my next study path ....
i hear the books are coming out mid year, but you can sit the exam now ... is this true ? | |

| yes, the 271 exam is already live, and the 272 should go live on the 5th.
I passed both betas and am now MCDST. They where fairly easy exams if you have a little bit of helpdesk experience. I didnt study for these exams, but passing the 270 early last year helped. | |

| so would it be fair to say that the test concentrates on XP?
so i guess now you will tell me that XP pro would have been the preferred OS to practice with when preparing for the exam?
hmmm.. now the price difference bet home and pro is becoming apparent...
now the question is was the Desktop cert a result of new demands in IT or is it the result of sales of pro versas home?? | |

| I took the 271 test the day it came out and found it relatively easy. It focused entired on XP. |
