| One solution is to edit your boot.ini file, which controls OS booting for windows.
Be careful when you do this and make sure you create a backup incase you delete the wrong one. It's a hidden system file located on the root of C.
Another way to get around this would be to format the hard drive and relaod the OS from scratch.

You have to modify the Boot.ini file. Be careful. Upload image of boot.ini file and i'll tell you which part you have to delete.
[boot loader]
timeout=5
default=multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0
)partition(1)\WINDOWS
[operating systems]
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partiti
on(1)\WINDOWS="Microsoft Windows XP Professional" /fastdetect
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partiti
on(1)\WINNT="Microsoft Windows XP Professional" /fastdetect
