| i am planning to get the MCP, and then MCSA... but i don't know which one i should study, here is the info i found from MCMCSE.com:
70-210
Passing Score: 540
Questions: 50
Time Limit: 150 minutes
70-270
passing Score: unknown
Questions: 110
Time Limit: 150 minutes
the 70-270 has 110 questions??? and 70-210 only has 50 questions? and both's time limit is 150mins?? is that a mistake or what? which one do you guys think it is easier, my computer is currently running XP Pro, so i'm thinking that i will go for the 70-270, and what's the passing score for 70-270, what's the maximum score?

| If I were you, I wouldn't base my decision on which exam is the easiest. I would base it on which exam will help me to get where I want to go in my career and/or certification path. Either 210 or 270 will count towards MCSA/MCSE certification in both the Windows 2000 and Windows Server 2003 tracks. Maybe ask yourself which one will benefit you most in your current job, or which one will benefit you more down the road. XP is basically Windows 2000 under the hood with some enhancements and bells and whistles.
That being said, I've taken both of them and passed both the first try, and I believe that XP (270) is harder, overall. | |

| I have heard that the 110 question s was the original # when the test first came out. Now it's down to something like 60...or so I have heard. Can anyone confirm?
I am taking this test in 2 weeks. If you don't take it or someone doesn't answer by then, I'll let you know. | |

| thanks for your advice "clarkv", i want to do the 70-270 becasue it is newer, so it won't retire as soon as 70-210, although i think both will retire about the same time, becasue i think both are about the same....anyways, i just ordered the Exam Cram book for 70-270, hopefully that book can be a good book to me.

do you know what's the passing score? i read from somewhere else it says 703......so that means around 36/50 need to be correct....does each question get the same mark, or harder question get higher marks?? anyone know? | |
