| CAN ANYONE HELP ME??
I HAVE DECIDED TO DO THE MS 70-270 EXAM. I AM COMPLETELY NEW TO THIS WHOLE THING SO I NEED SOMEONE TO JUST POINT ME INTO THE RIGHT DIRECTION.. WHAT BOOKS SHOULD I BE USING?? HOW IS THE EXAM DONE, PAPER OR PC BASED? HOW MANY QUESTIONS? HOW LONG IS THE EXAM?

| Coriolis Exam Prep ISBN:1-58880-205-1.It is out of print, but you might find it at half.com.
I also used Transcender's. The exam is 50 questions with an 1 1/2 hour to finish.The score is only a Pass / Fail result.I took about a good month to study and practice.The questions were kind of long winded and it was a PC based test. | |

| I used the MS XP resource kit, MS Press XP Study guide and software from http://www.selftestsoftware.com . I'd never taken an MS exam before and didn't know too much about XP before I started so it took me about three and half months off and on around work. | |

| I am studying for the XP test also. The books I am using so far are the Exam Cram Study Guide and Windows XP Inside Out.
Later on I will review my old Windows 2000
professional (70-210) test guides to review
some of the basic information.
One problem, since I have not taken the test I do not know if my advice is of any use to you. |
