Is the computer in the same system state each time you get these errors?

You say its the same address each time, in my mid that may point to a bad memory.

You've got 384GB of RAM, so I would guess you've got multiple sticks in there, try removing them one at a time, running the PC for a while as close as possible to the system state that produces the errors and see what happens.

If the errors till occur it could be your gfx card's memory or CPU cache, although the latter is less likely if the error is intermittent. Either try a different gfx card or disable all the caches in BIOS.

BTW I notice thats your first post, welcome to the forums!

Error 0xc0000005 can occur for a number of different reasons, often drivers. But if it's always on the same memory address, it might very well be wonky RAM. Especially so if you don't have a hard repro, if the problem just pops up every now anda again for now apparent reason.

Check with your manufacturer, they may have an application for finding RAM problems.

Also, take a look at http://search.support.microsoft.com...sfxSearch_Query and see if anything there applies to you. (That is, go to www.microsoft.com/support and search for 0xc0000005).

If you have spare memory you can swap out, you could try the modules for a week or two to see if the problem occurs again.

is the memory used all DELL supplied or have you added from another brand. DELL's can be finicky about memory types, best used Kingston matched memory.

I hear that Swan Vesta matched memory is red.
